Hey Long Cha
Hey Long Cha is a fresh tea brewery concept from Taiwan. The franchise chain is currently widespread and well-received in China — with over 500 stores — and is now in Singapore! Their first flagship store has opened in Changi City Point in March.
There are 5 tea leaves to satisfy your taste buds: Alishan tea, Oolong tea, Jasmine green tea, Ceylon black tea, Earl Grey tea, Baked Oolong tea.
Marugame Udon & Tempura
Marugame Seimen is a big chain that specializes in udon, with more than 800 stores all across Japan. They have 65 outlets in Tokyo alone. They are now open in ION Orchard basement 4.
The Original Boat Noodle
The Original Boat Noodle is owned by a Singapore singer Hong Junyang and it serves Thai street food. Other than noodles, they also serve other commonly found Thai food fare. It is now open at Changi City Point basement 1.
Sushi Shiki Hanamaru
Sushi Shiki Hanamaru is located in Hokkaido Marche next to Donki in the basement of Orchard Central.
It is the last outlet to open in Hokkaido Marche, Orchard Central. Unlike the other seven outlets which operate like stalls in a food court, Sushi Shiki Hanamaru (花まる) is a proper restaurant with its exclusive dining area. It serves sushi and a good range of other a la carte items. Hanamaru (花まる) is a sushi shop from the port town of Nemuro in Hokkaido, Japan. The seas near Nemuro are rich fishing grounds and Hanamaru has some of their stores located right where the fresh catches are landed. Hanamaru currently has 13 stores in Hokkaido and 3 in Tokyo. There is apparently always a long queue at some of their outlets, like Nemuro Hanamaru in Sapporo
Other than sushi and sashimi, they also serve tempura and other Japanese dishes.
